About us

For more than three centuries the Pavoncelli Family has been connected to the farmlands in the Puglia region of Italy, first as nomadic sheepherders, then, eventually, as landowners.  In fact, there is no other family so closely associated to the development of Puglia as an agricultural powerhouse:  it was Giuseppe Pavoncelli that masterminded the Pugliese Aqueduct that managed to bring abundant water from the Appennine mountains of neighboring Abruzzo to the otherwise drought prone planes of northern Puglia.

It is this visceral connection to these lands, and the crops that they produce, that goes into every one of Pavoncelli products.
